Icahn Makes His Pitch

Carl Icahn is disputing Mentor’s claim that any attempt by the activist investor to acquire the EDA company would run afoul of anti-trust laws. Icahn this week laid out his counter-arguments, noting that Cadence said in its aborted attempt to buy Mentor a few years ago that it was confident such a deal would not be turned down by regulators.
