Mid Tier EMS Companies Looking Good

Earnings reports are coming out this week for the mid-size EMS companies and the early results range from good to excellent.

Raven Industries reported record sales and guided for double-digit growth in 2006. Nortech Systems kicked butt, too.

St. Louis based LaBarge today lowered guidance, but still projects growth in 2006. Chief executive and president Craig LaBarge said, “For the 2006 fiscal year, we anticipate sales will grow about 5% over the prior year and earnings per share will be comparable to fiscal 2005.” The company previously expected the current year’s third-quarter sales and earnings to be up from second-quarter levels, and full-year sales and earnings to achieve double-digit growth.

All in all, a good start to earnings season.
