In Defense of Orlando

It’s no secret that military and defense electronics have heated up over the past seven years. Later this month, in Orlando, perhaps the largest conference and expo on government and defense communications technology takes place. Called MILCOM, the event reportedly draws more 4,000 attendees. Several major OEMs will be there, including Rockwell-Collins, Northrop Grumman, Sun Microsystems and Lockheed Martin. Among the larger EMS companies exhibiting are Plexus and Endicott Interconnect Technologies. For those who wish to supply to the defense sector, it’s worth a look-see.
