Viva Apex!

Apex is moving to Las Vegas — finally.

I strongly salute the move. A trade show has three components: 1) branding itself, 2) getting people there, and — once they show up — 3) keeping them there.  As for 1, Apex is a well-known brand. Regarding 3, it’s incumbent on 2. Downtown Los Angeles is a dive; the show couldn’t continue to exist in that space. No one was excited about it, and the attendance drop persisted.

Already, I have heard from dozens of people — all positive — who saw our news piece on the Las Vegas transition. Folks are excited about Vegas. And a little excitement is what the show needed.
